Fighting Caravans – ‘Blue Heart Motel’ New Single & Video

Fighting Caravans, an alternative-rock quintet from Leeds, will kick off their summer with the release of latest single, Blue Heart Motel, on Friday 1st July 2016.

The single, produced by Alex Greaves (Forever Cult, Trash, NARCS, Colour Of Spring) and mastered by Brian Lucey (Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, The Last Shadow Puppets, Marilyn Manson, Ray LaMontagne) will be released on a 7” blue vinyl, also containing B-side, In Sicily, and Digital Download.

2016 has already seen the band announce two UK tours and on the bill for a number of high profile festivals, including Live At Leeds and Liverpool Sound City.

The recent set at Live At Leeds was recently reviewed by CLASH Magazine: “Deep dulcet crooning tones and tracks filled with blood curdling rants, singer Daniel Clark seems possessed…definitely ones to watch!”

In 2015, Fighting Caravans released their debut EP, Beasts Of England, which was supported by a UK & EU tour and earned local and international plaudits. The success afforded by singles ‘Tyrannosaur‘ and ‘Exec. Style‘ have provided opportunity for the band to complete their first ever UK headline tour (March) and will see the outfit feature at a number of festivals in 2016, including; Live At Leeds, Liverpool Sound City and Long Division, in addition to further tours in the UK and Germany.

Blue Heart Motel was recorded at Peak Studios in Bradford and represents a further progression from the 5-piece’s earlier ‘swamp-rock’ sound; the title track – accompanied by an official music video (link below) – is metaphoric of a love lost, whilst In Sicily continues the theme of jiving at typical relationship conventions with lyrics inspired by such works as Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel and classic film trilogy, The Godfather.

‘Blue Heart Motel’ is now available to pre-order via

It will be officially released on 1st July 2016 and cost £5 for the Vinyl edition, with the digital product available to download for £2.
